North Regional Bowl Champions

What a Saturday I had.  Played the full 80 mins in the North Regional Bowl Final for Kinloss Eagles against Moray Rugby Football Club.  It was a great game and we were fortunate enough to come out on top.  This puts us into the National Bowl Semi-finals and only one game away from playing at Murryfield. Such a happy chappie.

Me & the Boy

Well as the weather is really ##i## I thought I'd put a rugby post up.  here is one of my oldest lad & me after we had played and won the Brin cup at the beginning of May.  It's a great feeling playing in the same time as your son.  We both play front row and I can't explain the feeling of joy we had that day as it was our old adversaries RAF Lossiemouth we thumped.  Happy days.

 

The above picture was taken earlier in the season when we played St Andrews Uni.  Unfortunately we lost that game which would have gained us promotion to the Caledonia 1 .  Anywho I think the lad got a bit of a shock as I ran over him. 

League Champions

Played the final league game of the season today and we won 57 - 32 really hard game.  So we are league Champs.  The SRU have now decided that we require to play a home and away fixture to decide if we get promotion. And we are still in the Brin cup.  Happy chappie

League Decider

This Saturday see's my team Moray RFC play their final game league game of the season at home against Aberdeenshire 2nds.  A victory for us will secure the league championship and put us into the play off with the chance of promotion to Caledonia one.  Big training night tomorrow so off to bed to charge the batteries.
